Routes: Cow Lane Connecting Communities Project
Overview
The councils have been working with local artists on an exciting project that will transform Cow Lane underpass into a safer, more welcoming and visually appealing route.
This project has two strands:
- An outdoor gallery: The artwork uses themes and colours derived from workshops with local people. The dynamic circular artworks will begin in the station foyer and continue on the wing walls either side of the Cow Lane underpass.
- An illuminate lighting installation: A creative use of colour and pattern to transform the Cow Lane underpass into a vibrant, illuminated space.

What happens next?
Your feedback will be reviewed and we will share the insights with the artists, who will use your responses to inform their creative interpretation of the space.
