Western Valley: Neighbourhood Area Designation Consultation

Overview

Vale of White Horse district council designated the Western Valley Neighbourhood Area on 1 October 2025. The original application sought designation of the entire parish area. However, due to a mapping error, a small section of the parish was omitted in the designated neighbourhood area.

The district council is therefore undertaking a six-week consultation on a proposal to redesignate the neighbourhood area to include the omitted section. A map showing both the current designated neighbourhood area boundary and the proposed revised neighbourhood area boundary can be viewed.

The consultation will run from 23 June to 11:59pm on 4 August 2026.

Personal data

All personal data will be held securely by the council and examiner in line with the Data Protection Act 2018. Comments submitted by individuals will be published on our website alongside their name. No other contact details will be published. Comments submitted by businesses, organisations or agents will be published in full, excluding identifying information of any individual employees.
