We did

Vale of White Horse District Council appointed an Independent Examiner, to review whether the plan met the basic conditions required by legislation and whether the plan should proceed to referendum.

  • The council determined on 1 July 2024 that the Plan, as modified by the Examiner’s recommendations, should proceed to referendum.
  • A referendum was held on Thursday 5 September 2024 and 97.3% of those who voted were in favour of the plan.

Steventon Neighbourhood Plan was adopted on 23 October 2024.

Overview

Steventon Parish Council is working on a Neighbourhood Plan which has recently been submitted to Vale of White Horse District Council.

We are inviting your comments on the plan and supporting documents during a publicity period running from Thursday, 7 December 2023 to 11.59pm on Thursday, 1 February 2024.

The consultation has been extended by an additional week and will now end on 1 February 2024. This is to ensure any interested parties have an opportunity to comment on Appendix 7 Character Appraisal which is now available alongside the consultation documents.'

No other contact details will be published. Comments submitted by businesses, organisations or agents will be published in full, excluding identifying information of any individual employees. Part C is for monitoring purposes only and all questions are optional. The information provided in this section will not be linked to your submission, shared with the independent examiner or outside the council, nor will it be published as part of the consultation results.
